The Simplified Acoustics Story

Simplified Acoustics was founded by Matt Call, who has more than two decades of experience installing high-end home theaters and recording studios. As Principal and COO, Matt serves as lead designer for custom installation projects. In addition, he is responsible for R&D for the company’s acoustic products, including SiM Panel acoustic panels, Deco Print printed panels, and 3D Fiber Frame ceiling systems.

Matt has a B.S. in Building and Construction Management from Purdue University and worked in construction for several years. He also spent many years as a touring musician. Together, these experiences created a passion for acoustic excellence through intentional design. Matt is often interviewed for industry publications such as Residential Systems and is a member of CEDIA, the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association. Prior to starting Simplified Acoustics, Matt was the custom installation manager for Auralex Acoustics.
